Dr. Anitha Arvind of GD Goenka University appointed Secretary and Treasurer Role at IACLE
The International Association of Contact Lens Educators (Iacle) has onboarded its first officer based in Japan.
Dr Shizuka Koh, president of the Japanese Contact Lens Society, was appointed to provide local perspective and guidance as Iacle sought to improve its knowledge of the country.
Professors Philip Morgan from the University of Manchester and Shehzad Narro from Aston University were also re-elected as directors and president and vice-president, respectively.
Dr Anitha Arvind from GD Goenka University in India was appointed secretary and treasurer and will also support the association’s efforts to expand its reach in underserved areas.
Bonnie Boshart, CEO at Iacle, said: ‘I would like to congratulate our elected and returning board members and thank all those who put themselves forward for nomination.’
