The students of GD Goenka Public School, Siliguri have earned international recognition by securing the Silver Medal in the Open Division at the prestigious Malaysia International Marching Arts Championship (MIMAC) 2026.

Competing against accomplished marching bands from 10 countries, the GDGPS Pipe & Drum Band delivered a performance distinguished by exceptional musical precision, synchronisation, and disciplined execution. Their remarkable display also secured them a place among the Top Five Bands at the championship, making this an outstanding achievement on the global stage.
