KC int’l School holds programme

JAMMU, Nov 15: KC International School hosted Sur Sangam 2025, an Inter-School Music Competition that brought together talented young singers from various schools across Jammu. Celebrated with the theme “Happiness”, the event highlighted music as a joyful art form that builds confidence, emotional balance and cultural appreciation.
Former Education and Tourism Minister Priya Sethi attended the event as chief guest, along with music composer and santoor player Ravi Sharma and music director Sunil Sharma as guests of honour. The judging panel comprised ghazal singer Dharmesh Nargotra and Anupama Sharma, retired HoD, Department of Music, GCW Parade.
More than 90 participants competed in Solo Singing Junior, Solo Singing Senior and Group Singing categories. Daivansh Sudan of KCIS won Junior Solo, while Sabhya Koul of GD Goenka secured Senior Solo. KC International School earned first place in Group Singing and was declared the Overall Winner of Sur Sangam 2025. In her address, Priya Sethi praised the competition for promoting positivity and nurturing talent.
