GD Goenka University Faculty Contribute Key Insights on HR Trends at AMU 2026.

Aligarh : The Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Studies and Research, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), recently organised a two-day Academia–Industry Interface 2026, aimed at strengthening the linkage between academic learning and industry expectations. The programme was held under the patronage of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Naima Khatoon.

The interface brought together academicians and industry professionals who shared insights on emerging business trends, managerial challenges, and evolving workplace dynamics with MBA students. The sessions provided a platform for meaningful dialogue on aligning management education with real-world industry needs.

From academia, Prof. Saif Siddiqui (Jamia Millia Islamia) deliberated on high valuations and loss-making start-ups, while Prof. Nusrat Khan (GD Goenka University, Gurgaon) spoke on emerging HR trends and the future of work. Prof. Debarshi Mukharjee (Jamia Millia Islamia) delivered a lecture on quantum marketing, and Prof. Monica Arora (Amity Business School, Haryana) highlighted strategies for managing disruptions in global supply chains. Prof. Valeed Ahmed Ansari, Senior Professor, Department of Business Administration, AMU, reflected on conflicts in the era of industrialisation, urging students to critically examine the changing business landscape.

Industry perspectives were shared by Dr. Ashutosh Srivastava, former Senior Vice President, Hero Group, who discussed future-ready supply chains; Mr. Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India Pvt. Ltd., who outlined key industry expectations from management professionals; and Mr. Mussarrat Hussain, Head–HR, Suzuki R&D, who addressed contemporary HR challenges and workforce transformation.

Earlier, Prof. Mohd Naved Khan, Dean and Convener, emphasised the symbiotic relationship between academia and industry, while Prof. Salma Ahmed, Chairperson and Organising Secretary, highlighted the role of such interfaces in transforming classroom learning into professional competence.

The programme was coordinated with support from Dr. Asif Ali Syed and Dr. Asad Rehman and witnessed active participation from MBA students, promoting AMU’s commitment to industry-oriented management education.
