Studying at GD Goenka Public School has been a truly inspiring experience for me. The school has taught everything important and learning is not limited to textbooks -itcontinues through every activity, event and opportunity we receive. Each day here brings something new to explore and achieve.

Taking part in Spellympics and ICT competitions gave me the courage to challenge myself and the satisfaction of learning through eff ort. Cultural programs, the EnglishWeek quiz Paint-a-Poem competition, helped me discover my creative side. One of my proudest moments was performing Yoga on stage during the Independence Daycelebrations, which fi lled me with confi dence and a deep Sense of belonging to my school.

What makes GD Goenka special is the balance it off ers between academics and co-curricular activities. Through debates, exhibitions, workshops and sports events, I haveLearned teamwork, discipline and leadership. These experiences have shaped my personality and prepared me to face challenges with confi dence.

Above all, the constant support from my teachers and encouragement from my peers have made every success memorable and have setbacks meaningful. For me, GDGoenka is more than just a school- it is a place where talents are discovered, values are nurtured, and dreams are given wings.

The school provided me with invaluable music experience and confidence. The school also promoted my writing, and today, I am an author of two books. I am honored to still be invited back to judge competitions I once participated in, showing their ongoing support and love.

After passing school, I reflect on it as a transformative journey. It was more than just academics; it was a place where I discovered my passions, built lifelong friendships, and learned resilience. Each challenge and triumph contributed to shaping the person I am today. The skills and values I gained are the foundation for my future endeavors.

My name is Pratiyaksh Dhar. I’m 16 years old, and I’ve been at GD Goenka Public School in Jammu for over ten years. At present I study in Class XI Humanities. Looking back, this school has been more than just classrooms and books. It has felt like a second home. It has been a stage that shaped who I am today.

One memory that stands out is from 2014. I was in LKG, and somehow, I was chosen to solo-anchor the Kindergarten Graduation Day in front of hundreds of people. At that age, the stage seemed enormous, the crowd felt endless, and my heart raced. But when I spoke into the mic, it was like stepping into a new world. That experience sparked my interest in public speaking and showed me what it feels like to have responsibility

Since then, GD Goenka has been where I’ve grown. My teachers noticed my love for expression early on and encouraged me to go further. From debates and dramatics to leadership roles, every opportunity added to my confidence. What began with a single anchoring role has turned into a real passion for public speaking and debating. Today, I represent my school at Model United Nations conferences, not just at local schools but even internationally.

None of this would have been possible without the constant support of my school and my teachers. They believed in me even before I believed in myself. Their faith gave me courage, their guidance offered direction, and their trust boosted my confidence to aim higher every time.

My journey at GD Goenka Public School has been an incredible one, filled with learning, growth and unforgettable memories. For me, the school is like my second home. The teachers here not only teach us lessons from textbooks but also guide us with patience, care and encouragement. They have inspired me to set goals, work hard, and never lose hope in difficult times.

The school provides me with countless opportunities to explore my interests through various competitions, workshops, cultural programs, community service and various other activities. These experiences have surely helped me grow as an individual, teaching me the importance of perseverance and teamwork. Each experience had added something new to my personality, teaching me lessons that no textbook could ever cover.

From the classrooms to playgrounds, every corner of this school has given everlasting memories that I will cherish forever.

I am Parigna Katiyar, a student of Class XII-Science, the Sports Captain, and above all, a proud Goenkan.

For me, swimming has always been more than just a sport it has been a journey of discipline, resilience, and self-belief. With every stroke in the water and every hour of practice, I discovered not only physical strength but also mental endurance.

One of my earliest and proudest moments was winning a silver medal in my very first competition at Allen House, Kanpur. But the medal closest to my heart is the bronze I won at the Cluster Competition in Dhanbad, where I competed against participants from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and the entire North-East. That achievement made me truly realise how far passion and hard work can take a person.

Swimming has given me much more than medals. It has taught me patience when progress seemed slow, courage when challenges felt overwhelming, and confidence to never give up. These lessons extend far beyond the pool and continue to inspire me in every aspect of life.

I am deeply grateful to my school, which has been the strongest pillar of my journey. What began as a simple hobby turned into a lifelong passion, thanks to the encouragement of my teachers, the excellent facilities, and the constant belief that my school placed in me. This support gave me the strength to dream bigger and achieve more.

As I move forward, I will carry with me not just the medals, but the values, memories, and lessons that my school has gifted me.

My journey in this school has been exciting and full of learning. The teaching methods are interesting, and my teachers always encourage me to do my best. Chess is my passion, and with the constant support of my school, I achieved Second Place in State National Selection, First Place at KIIT Bhubaneswar, and Second Place in Inter School 2024.

I also get opportunities in cultural and sports activities, which makes school life enjoyable. A very proud moment for me was when I got to lead and organize the first Inter-House Chess Tournament in school.

My school truly gives me quality education, confidence, and the chance to grow as both a learner and a leader.
